We provide one of the most competitive Airport to airport rates in the UK, we are also very flexible with collections from your door step and booking dates. Our Airport to Airport shipments are daily and arrive at destination airport within 3-5 days, we also work with clearance agents in many countries hence no matter how big or small consignments are we are here to take away the headache and provide you with excellent service. Door to Door Air Cargo Service
Direct Cargo Express provides own weekly consolidated cargo – charges is Inclusive of freight, customs clearance, taxes and delivery (Nothing to pay at destination). These destinations include Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We also provide Door to Door worldwide courier service DDU-Delivered Duty Unpaid which excludes destination customs charges.

Gross weight V Dimensional weight explained

All Air freight consignments are weighed and measured upon arrival at our warehouse.

Most of airfreight shipment charges are based on actual weight in kg, in some instances you may be charged volumetric/dimensional weight (converted into kg weight).

Door to destination Airport volume weight calculations An example of when you may be charged on volume for Door to Airport is as follows:

To calculate the volumetric weight, you multiply the dimensions in centimetres; (length x width x height) and divide the result by 6000cm.Therefore our rates are multiplied on either Actual weight or Volumetric weight which ever is greater.  If you know the dimensions of your package use below calculator to find out whether you will be charged gross weight or dimensional weight.
